Good Code Hackathon | Build With Care

Visual Design

DocuSign’s Good Code hackathon was built around a powerful idea: bring engineers together to create technology that supports nonprofits and environmental causes.

My role on the project was to design a set of visual assets that would help communicate that mission and encourage participation from developers around the world.

The challenge was balancing two things at once. The visuals needed to align with DocuSign’s brand system while also expressing the collaborative and purpose-driven spirit of the event.

The work included a wide range of assets such as email campaign graphics, promotional banners, landing page visuals, and video thumbnails. Each piece was designed to feel energetic and welcoming while maintaining consistency with the brand.

Typography and layout choices emphasized clarity and impact. Bold headlines and strong visual compositions were used to draw attention to the event and its mission. Color and illustration added warmth and personality, reinforcing the idea that this hackathon was about building meaningful tools for real communities.

Although the project was relatively short in duration, it demonstrated how thoughtful visual storytelling can help shape the perception of an event. The final campaign helped present Good Code as both a technical challenge and a meaningful opportunity to contribute to social impact.
